Wubbers University Courses by Christine Keller

Christine’s BIO

Chrizart Creations is Christine Keller a jewelry-maker from Buckhannon, West Virginia. She strives to create one-of-a-kind pieces of unique design and color. Christine began expressing herself as a wood-carver in 1995. In 2008, she took up pottery, leading to experiments with jewel-like cabochons of clay and melted glass. Having a lifelong love of jewelry, she began wire wrapping in 2009 as a way to incorporate the cabochons into pendants. She has since expanded the line to include rings, earrings, and bracelets.

During the summer of 2012, Chris became a silversmith and has added hand forged designs to the Chrizart collection. In addition to these handmade elements, her jewelry includes semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, Czech glass and beads, repurposed materials, and other accoutrements either forged in sterling silver and copper; or wrapped in silver, copper, 14K gold-filled, or colorful anodized wire.

Life on top of a West Virginia mountain with her husband Warren and two wonderful dogs inspires Chris’s creative spirit. It is the beauty which surrounds her, the love of friends and family (10 grandkids!) and the time to create anew which sustains her. Chris’s work is shown at: Tamarack, The Greenbrier Colony Shops, and many others in both West Virginia; and California, Florida, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin. She is a member of Wholesale Crafts.com (#26425).
